Internationale nummers Duitsland - Aangepaste regelgeving

Sinds eind vorig jaar zijn de Duitse telecom regels t.b.v. internationale nummers aangepast. Hieronder het bericht van de internationale toezichthouder.

We are updating the requirements for registering and operating German phone numbers on our platform.

End User Details

From the 2nd December, all new German Geographic and National numbers need to be associated with a valid business end user, together with ID and address proofs.

We also ask that you update all of your existing end user details for German Geographic and National numbers to match the requirement above.

In March 2020 we will review all German numbers in your account. If we are unable to validate any against these requirements, we will, unfortunately, need to suspend service to them.

The numbers will not be cancelled from your account. But they will be suspended from service until you are able to successfully complete the registration.

Details of the requirements are listed below:

Summary: Geographic numbering

• Verified details required before activation of a number: Yes
• End User Type: Company end users only
• End user location: Within Germany and within the geographic area corresponding to the area code 
• Address proof: Required
• Business Registration proof: Required
• ID proof: Required of authorised person of business

Summary: National numbering

• Verified details required before activation of a number: Yes
• End User Type: Company end users only
• End user location: Within Germany
• Address proof: Required
• Business Registration proof: Required
• ID proof: Required of authorised person of business

Valid proofs of address are as follows:

• Handelsregisterauszug (Commercial Register)
• Bescheinigung der Gewerbeanzeige (Business Registration)
• Business Taxation document supplied by the local authority whether that be government, state, municipality.
• For self-employed (Gewerbetreibender) or freelancers (Freiberufler) also known as free professionals please refer to our Customer Success team for additional guidance.

Valid proofs of ID are as follows for all number types:

• Government issued ID from any country (Passport/National ID Card/Driving Licence ID Card). We accept ages of 18 years and over.
• The ID must be of the representative named on the business registration or the ID of an authorized representative along with a document linking the authorized representative to the business must be provided.

The deadline for this is 25/03/2021, after which date we may be asked to suspend service on your German numbers should you not be notified with BNetzA.

In the meantime, new purchase and porting restrictions for Germany have been placed on your account.

These can be lifted as soon as you have completed your notification obligations with BNetzA.
